Austenites, rejoice: Netflix is too generous to trifle with you or make you wait any longer for a Pride and Prejudice trailer.
After months of teasing, Netflix on Wednesday released the first full trailer for the new miniseries based on Austen’s beloved novel.
We get our first look inside Longbourn, glimpses of the Bennet sisters’ rowdy antics, a peek at Pemberley, and flashes of yearning in the slow-burn romance between Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy.
The new adaptation, written by Dolly Alderton, stars Emma Corrin as protagonist Lizzy Bennet opposite Jack Lowden’s Fitzwilliam Darcy. Freya Mavor plays Lizzy’s older sister and confidant, Jane, with Hollie Avery, Rhea Norwood and Hopey Parish joining as the lively Bennet sisters Kitty, Lydia and Mary, respectively.
We also see Olivia Colman as the girls’ “animated mother,” as Lizzy so aptly describes her, and Rufus Sewell quite at his leisure as the family patriarch, Mr. Bennet. Rounding out the star-studded cast are Daryl McCormack as Mr. Bingley, Louis Partridge as Mr. Wickham and Jamie Demetriou as Mr. Collins.
Alderton tells Netflix’s Tudum her adaptation remains faithful to Austen’s original text, but the format of a miniseries allows for a deeper look into overlooked plotlines and characters.
“Pride and Prejudice is such a timeless story because of the emotions in the book; they are as pertinent now as they were in 1812,” Alderton says. “Embarrassment of your family, fear that you’re going to get left behind, fear that the world is not going to be a safe place for your children as it was for you, mortification that you judged someone incorrectly or that you had been misjudged. We go to that book to see our hearts reflected in it.”
All six episodes of the series were written by Alderton and directed by Euros Lyn, who also directed the Netflix series Heartstopper and Wayward.
Pride and Prejudice will begin streaming on Netflix Dec. 3.

Reality TV star Tyler Cameron said Wednesday he is grateful to fans for an "incredible experience" on Dancing with the Stars.
Following his elimination Tuesday night on the dance competition show, Cameron took to TikTok alongside his pro partner, Sharna Burgess, and reflected on his journey, saying he was "grateful for everything."
Cameron also addressed his reaction after receiving scores from the judges, when he appeared to walk away while on camera.
"Y'all saw a real human moment out of me, not my proudest moment," he said. "When I was upstairs getting my scores, I thought we were done filming and I was like, I needed to step away from it all."
He continued, "I was disappointed in myself, OK. I thought it was boom or bust at that point where we had to have a great score or we were out of this competition. And it was bust in my head and I felt like I let myself down. More importantly, I thought, 'I let Sharna down,' and it was hard."
Following his Dracula-inspired Viennese Waltz for the show's Horror Movie Night, Cameron received critical critique from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, Derek Hough and guest judge Shirley Ballas.
Ballas, known as the "Queen of Latin" in the ballroom world, said that Cameron's acting skills were great but noted improper posture and technique for the dance.
In the end, Cameron earned three 7s from Tonioli, Inaba and Hough, and a 5 from Ballas for a total score of 26 out of 40.
While Cameron expressed his disappointment, Burgess said Wednesday that she thought he executed the dance "beautifully."
"I think your score should not have been 7s. I don't know why you were given 7s, I think you could have been 8s and Shirley's 5, which by the way was the highest that she scored a ballroom dancer the whole night," Burgess said.
"It was a tough night," she added. "For whatever reason, they were tough on you. They've been tough on you. Last week, you should have got higher scores too. It's been a pattern for you. There are things we can't control, whatever they're seeing versus us. All I know is what I watched back, I'm insanely proud of you."
Cameron's elimination came one week after the show's Dedication Night, when Cameron and his fiancée, Tate Madden, revealed that they are expecting.
The reality star said that his journey on the show has been "a blessing."
"I'm gonna miss this place, I'm going to miss this ballroom, I'll miss dancing with you," Cameron told Burgess. "I love this experience overall. I'm sorry that I let my emotions get the best of me earlier but it came out of a place of just love and passion and it was tough."
Burgess said Cameron and his fiancée have become family, saying, "This journey that we've had was so much more than competing for a Mirror Ball."
"I'm rooting for you guys in everything that you do, I will be at all the events, I will celebrate the wins, I will be there for you in your lows," she added. "You guys are family now and so that is greater than one more, two more weeks on the show."
Also eliminated Tuesday night was Savannah Bananas star Jackson Olson and his pro partner Emma Slater.
Dancing with the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and streams on Disney+. Episodes stream the next day on Hulu.

Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are the perfect team in a new Rare Beauty campaign.
"Delena" is so back in the new product launch for Gomez's beauty brand. The former best friends appear in new photos inspired by the 2009 Disney Channel Original Movie they starred in together, Princess Protection Program.
Gomez shared the photos in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
"Once a Princess, always a Princess," Gomez wrote. "Best friends don’t just have each other’s backs. They make them blush too. @ddlovato @rarebeauty."
These new photos find Gomez and Lovato dressed as their Princess Protection Program characters Carter Mason and Princess Rosalinda María Montoya Fioré. The first photo in the carousel recreates the film's poster, with both women wearing the blue and yellow dresses their characters are known for. The second photo shows off the new Rare Beauty products, while the third photo finds Gomez and Lovato, still in costume as their former characters, putting the makeup on.
The new Rare Beauty products are even named after their friendship portmanteau. Called the Delena, it is a set of two Rare Beauty Soft Pinch liquid blushes in the shades Hope and Virtue. A free blush brush is included in the bundle.
A description on Rare Beauty's website says that "after nearly 25 years of friendship, Selena and Demi prove that true friends don’t just have your back — they make you blush."
Hope is described as Gomez's shade, a nude mauve with a dewy finish, while Virtue is Lovato's, a beige peach shade also with a dewy finish.
Rare Beauty's account also posted a video with the women vlogging in what appears to be a teen girl's bedroom. Photos from the set of Princess Protection Program adorn the walls, while the song Gomez and Lovato recorded for the film, "One and the Same," plays in the background.
"It's been a minute, hasn't it?" Lovato asks in the video. The pair lip-synch to their song while jumping on the twin bed and dancing around the room. At the end of the video, Gomez asks, "Who is your best friend?" Lovato looks at her with a huge smile, letting the question linger as the words, "Still making each other blush," appear on the screen with "#DelenaIsBack."
Gomez took to her Instagram Story to promote the collaboration, writing, "The most special day," and tagging Lovato.
Gomez and Lovato originally met after starring on Barney & Friends in 2002. They remained close friends while both starring on their own respective Disney Channel shows, Wizards of Waverly Place and Sonny With a Chance, before teaming up for Princess Protection Program.
After a reported fallout that lasted for years, the women seem to have mended their relationship. Gomez even attended one of Lovato's It’s Not That Deep Tour concerts in April. "I am in tears," Gomez wrote on her Instagram Story at the time. "@ddlovato — this was hands down one of the best shows. Oh and the VOCALS? ... blown away."
It's been a year of Disney Channel nostalgia for Lovato, who also executive produced and cameoed in Camp Rock 3. That movie reunited her with the Jonas Brothers and premiered on Aug. 13.

Matthew Perry's sister Mia Perry Bowick is remembering her brother three years after his death.
Bowick, who appears in the new Netflix docuseries The One About Matthew Perry, sat down with ABC News' Juju Chang and said that who audiences saw on television was who her brother was off screen.
"We all have those celebrities or stars that we really love, and you know, you talk with your friends and go, 'Do you think he's just that great in real life?' And what I want to say to everyone was yes, he was," Bowick said.
She added, "I think we tried the best that we could to really take care of each other in a lot of ways. So he was my person, I was his person."
The three-part docuseries marks Bowick's first time speaking on camera about her brother. She, along with family and friends, remembered fond memories with Perry. For Bowick, that included attending tapings of Friends when she was younger and getting to know the cast.
"They were so sweet," Bowick recalled. "It was just, 'Oh, Matty's little sister is here,' and I would go sit in the ladies' dressing room and play with my hair. It's just very, very little sister vibes. It was lovely and they're such generous people. All of them are just really, really lovely."
Bowick also shared how much the Friends cast loved Perry and described a touching moment that happened at Perry's memorial following his death in October 2023.
"I wasn't expecting to see them," she said. "I was in the fog of grief. I don't know what I was thinking. But as they came in, I was just blown over and it was so wonderful to see them and how much the cast deeply, deeply, deeply loved him."
Perry died from acute effects of ketamine, according to an autopsy report released in December 2023 after his death. He was 54.
The autopsy listed drowning, coronary artery disease and buprenorphine effects as contributing factors not related to the immediate cause of death. The manner of death was ruled an accident.
In 2024, Kenneth Iwamasa, Perry's live-in assistant, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine resulting in death. Iwamasa is currently serving a 3-year, 5-month sentence in federal prison.
Leading up to his death the Friends star had been open about his addiction to alcohol and prescription painkillers, which were triggered after a doctor prescribed him Vicodin following a jet ski accident. He wrote about his struggles in his memoir, Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing.
Perry also opened up about his ongoing battles in one of his last interviews with Diane Sawyer.
At his memorial, Bowick recalls a moment when she felt her brother's presence.
"I just immediately had this sense that he's standing behind me and just reached over and was like, 'How effed up is this?'" she said. "Like it's just exactly how he would say it in real life. And I was just like, 'Yeah, Matty, this is really messed up!' And I just started laughing so hard with tears running down my face and feeling a little funny about the fact that I'm laughing hysterically at this moment while he's being put into the mausoleum."
Three years after his death, Bowick says that Perry still continues to guide her.
"I would sit on my beautiful porch in Colorado and I would talk to my brother," she said. "He would sit in the chair next to me and I say, man, this is getting really tough. And he would say things like, 'It's gonna be fine.'"

If you were hoping Katniss Everdeen would return for the new Hunger Games film, the odds are in your favor.
Jennifer Lawrence confirmed on the Call Her Daddy podcast that she has reprised role in TheHunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. Josh Hutcherson and Woody Harrelson also return as Peeta Mellark and Haymitch Abernathy, respectively.
Lawrence told host Alex Cooper that it was “unbelievable” stepping back into the role.
“It was so crazy because it was the same crew,” she said. “It was the same camera guys, the same AD who I’ve worked with a million times too ‘cause I love him, and Josh and Woody, and it was so emotional.”
She said she and Josh “didn’t walk to the bathroom without our arms around each other,” calling the experience “so beautiful.”
Lawrence added, “And Woody obviously came through the window of my hotel room uninvited 'cause it wouldn't be the same if he listened to boundaries and used a door.”
Sunrise on the Reaping follows a teenage Haymitch, played by Joseph Zada, as he faces the arena in the 50th annual Hunger Games. The film also stars Whitney Peak, Mckenna Grace, Jesse Plemons, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Maya Hawke, Ralph Fiennes, Elle Fanning, Glenn Close, Billy Porter and Kieran Culkin.
Lawrence played the role of Katniss in the first four films of the Hunger Games franchise, the first of which was released in 2012. She and Hutcherson were initially rumored to be returning for Sunrise on the Reaping, though it hadn't been officially confirmed.
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, based on the Suzanne Collins novel of the same name, arrives in theaters on Nov. 20.

Sarah Snook is taking on a new series inspired by one of Alfred Hitchcock's classic films.
The actress will star in a limited series adaptation of The Birds, ABC Audio has confirmed. The upcoming series is in pilot development at HBO. It will be inspired by both Hitchcock's film and the Daphne du Maurier novella.
"Escaping a bitter custody battle, Myra Massey (Snook) returns home with her young daughter, secretly probing a childhood friend's suspicious disappearance. With a killer on the loose and personal threats mounting, Myra fights to protect her daughter against a terrifying new menace: vicious, deadly bird attacks inexplicably tied to the crime," according to the show's official description.
This high-profile project brings many HBO creatives together. Snook is known for her role as Shiv Roy in HBO's Succession. Tom Spezialy, who executive produced both Watchmen and The Leftovers for the network, is writing the pilot and serving as an executive producer. David Heyman also executive produces the show. He is currently executive producing the network's Harry Potter series.
Universal Global Television, which is a division of Universal Studio Group, serves as a co-studio alongside HBO on the project. Its sibling movie studio Universal Pictures produced the 1963 Hitchcock film and owns the rights to it along with the du Maurier estate.

More members of the Wizarding World have been cast in HBO's Harry Potter series.
The network has announced that Jasper Talbot, Hannah Chinn and Harry Gilby have joined the season 1 cast of the upcoming series.
Talbot will play James Potter, Chinn is taking on the role of Lily Potter and Gilby has been cast as Charlie Weasley.
"The magical family is growing," HBO Max captioned a casting announcement Instagram post.
James and Lily Potter are the parents of the titular boy who lived. They are killed by the evil wizard Voldemort before the events of the Harry Potter books occur. Lily sacrificed herself to save baby Harry Potter's life.
Charlie Weasley is the second eldest son of Molly Weasley and Arthur Weasley, and the older brother of Harry's best friend, Ron Weasley.
The first season of the series, titled Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, will air on HBO and debut on HBO Max on Christmas Day 2026.
HBO renewed its Harry Potter series for season 2 on May 6, months ahead of the debut of the show's first season.
Dominic McLaughlin leads the cast as Harry Potter. He stars alongside Alastair Stout and Arabella Stanton, who play Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. The show is described as a faithful adaptation of the books by J.K. Rowling, who serves as an executive producer.

Christina Applegate says she still plans to be a "warrior" for the multiple sclerosis (MS) community after revealing she was misdiagnosed with the autoimmune disorder.
"You guys are my people," Applegate said on Tuesday's episode of her podcast MeSsy, which she co-hosts with actress Jamie Lynn Sigler, who has been public about her own battle with MS.
"I'm still your warrior, and I'm still going to speak out on your behalf forever and ever," she continued. "I still feel like part of this community and no matter what, I love you. I love you, that's all."
Applegate, 54, first publicly announced in 2021 that she had been diagnosed with MS. She revealed on last week's podcast episode that a doctor recently told her does not have the disorder, which causes the immune system to attack the cells in the central nervous system, according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.
Applegate said at the time that she felt like she was "back at square one" and felt like her health was worsening.
On Tuesday's episode, Applegate provided more of a window into the health struggles she says she's facing, especially with her mobility.
"I actually timed it today. It took me 10 minutes to be able to move off my pillow and get out of the bed and stand up, at which point I almost couldn't walk to the bathroom and now a walker is sitting next to my bed because of what's going on," Applegate said. "I don't know what's going on. You know, this is what I'm still living with."
She continued, "And I never had that before. I was able to sit up and stuff, so this is what I said when things are getting worse, or they're just new."
The Dead to Me actress said she has received lots of support following her announcement about her misdiagnosis and is continuing to seek medical care, adding, "I can't get my hopes up."
"I don't understand what the heck's going on, right?" she said. "So I'm sure that that news coming to people, that's an adjustment. It's all an adjustment for everybody."
Applegate — who confirmed she plans to continue to cohost the MeSsy podcast — said she is glad to raise awareness about MS and misdiagnosis but added, "I never wanted to cause, like, a hysteria in any way."
Dr. Marwa Kaisey, a board-certified neurologist and associate professor of neurology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, said on a previous MeSsy podcast episode that about 20% of patients diagnosed with MS don't have the condition.
Doctors say there's no single test that can diagnose MS. That determination depends upon multiple factors, including a patient's symptoms and various test results, all of which can change over time. Additionally, improper application of diagnostic criteria, and that fact that MS symptoms can resemble those of other conditions, can sometimes lead to misdiagnosis.

Noah Wyle is this year's Sexiest Man Alive.
In an interview exclusive with People published on Tuesday, The Pitt star was in disbelief over the news and said that when he found out, it sounded like "a classic set-up for a prank."
"Just not in a million years did I think this would be an honor bestowed on me in this lifetime," he told People's editor-in-chief and general manager, Charlotte Triggs.
Wyle being named People's Sexiest Man Alive comes a month after the actor won the Emmy for outstanding lead actor in a drama series and outstanding drama series for The Pitt.
The 55-year-old actor, who directs the series, plays the show's main character, Dr. Michael "Robby" Robinavich.
On screen, Wyle's role as Dr. Robby is his latest portrayal of a doctor on television. His official big break was as John Carter in the hit TV series ER, in which he starred alongside George Clooney, who was named Sexiest Man Alive in 1997 and 2006.
In January, Clooney reunited with Wyle at the Movies for Grownups Awards, where Clooney won the best actor award for his performance in Jay Kelly and Wyle won for best TV actor for The Pitt.
When Clooney presented the award to Wyle, Clooney joked that he would nominate Wyle if AARP did a "Sexiest Man Still Alive" issue.
Outside of acting, Wyle is a husband and father. He married Sara Wells in June 2014, and the couple welcomed daughter Frances Harper Wyle in June 2015.
Wyle is also the father to Auden Wyle and Owen Strausser Wyle, whom he shares with ex-wife Tracy Warbin.
When asked by People what Wells thought about him being named Sexiest Man Alive, Wyle said that she is "amused by it all."
"She's the reason I accepted because she was very pleased that this confers well on her taste, I think," he said. "But also she thinks I'm a good guy and the kind of person I am and the kind of father I am, the kind of husband I am is worth promoting so I thought, okay, if you say so."
The actor is also a philanthropist. In October 2022, he launched the Noah Wyle Foundation, whose mission is to provide resources and support for the underprivileged and underserved. Its primary focus is to help children with mental illness and those experiencing food insecurity, as well as providing resources and support to the underprivileged and underserved.
Leading up to People announcing Wyle as the 2026 Sexiest Man Alive, the magazine revealed the results for its Sexiest Man Alive readers choice poll, in which more than 250,000 votes were cast in categories like Sexiest Silver Fox (which went to Stephen Colbert), Sexiest Cat Dad (which went to Travis Kelce), Sexiest Period Drama Dreamboat (Victor Alli) and more.
Dancing with the Stars pro Pasha Pashkov was also named sexiest DWTS Pro. The news was revealed last week during the show's dedication night.
Last year, Jonathan Bailey was named People's Sexiest Man Alive, while John Krasinski was given the title in 2024.

Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause has shared a relationship update.
Stause and her partner G Flip have parted ways, the former Netflix reality star revealed in an Instagram video on Monday. The couple were together for over four years.
"We have agreed to treat this public separation with love and respect for each other," Stause said. "That’s not hard for me because I am in love with this person and I don’t have all the information or the reasons. I’m sure — just like always — with time, you get the lessons you’re meant to get."
Stause continued, saying she hopes she heals from this and knows that things "will be fine" with more time. She also said she decided to share the news of her breakup publicly because of the "loving" reaction from fans regarding their relationship.
"I don’t know what else to say, you guys, I feel like a little bit of a failure. There’s nothing you can say about me that would be worse than what I say to myself," Stause said. "I just have to, kind of, heal and figure this out."
Stause described this experience as hard. "It’s painful. I’m a lover girl. I swing big. I miss," she said in the video. "Maybe you don’t miss, maybe these are the life and seasons you’re meant to have with people."
She concluded by saying, "I don’t know what I hope for myself. It’s really hard and stressful to share this information because I’m kind of going through it. But I will love G and I don’t ever really see that changing. And this sucks but everyone deserves to be happy and I wish that for both of us."
Stause confirmed she was in a relationship with G Flip when she appeared in the singer's music video for “GET ME OUTTA HERE” in 2022. The couple were wed a year later in May 2023.
At the time, Stause posted a video detailing their love story to Instagram.
"Love doesn’t always go as planned… Sometimes it’s immeasurably better," Stause captioned the post.
Stause was previously married to Justin Hartley before they divorced in 2021. She also briefly dated Selling Sunset boss Jason Oppenheim.

Walter Koenig, best known for playing USS Enterprise navigator Ensign Pavel Chekov on the original Star Trek TV series, died Sunday. He was 90.
Koenig's agent confirmed his death to ABC News, and Koenig's former co-star, George Takei, also shared the news in an online post Monday.
"Today we mourn the passing of Walter Koenig, whose talent, warmth, and unforgettable performances left a lasting mark on generations of fans around the world," Koenig's agent, Zachery McGinnis, said in a statement, in part. "He passed of old age at home in North Hollywood last night surrounded by his daughter and niece."
In his Facebook post, Takei mourned the news of his former co-star's death.
"Walter was more than Chekov. He was a writer, a teacher, a thoughtful man, and a loyal friend. To the fans who loved him for so many years, thank you. He loved you too," Takei wrote.
Born on Sept. 14, 1936, Koenig starred on several television shows including The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The Lieutenant -- created and produced by Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry -- I Spy and more before landing the role of Chekov in the second season of Star Trek in 1967.
Koenig told the Television Academy in a 2013 interview that he hadn't seen Star Trek before he read for the role of Chekov, a character that was added to the show after its debut.
"They were looking for an actor or a personality that would appeal to the same demographic that Davy Jones did -- kids 8 to 14 years old," he said, referring to the then-star of the music-comedy TV series The Monkees, adding that when he was cast in the role, he would get mail from young people commenting on how "groovy" his hair was.
In a 1984 interview with Good Morning America, Koenig said Star Trek had a "monumental effect" on his life.
"In my mind it's somewhat questionable whether I would indeed still be pursuing a career in this industry had it not been for 'Star Trek,'" he said. "Star Trek has made it possible not only to remain an actor, but to pursue other industry endeavors like writing and directing and producing."
Following Star Trek, Koenig went on to star in or appear in other television series, including Columbo and The Starlost.
In 1979, he joined his other fellow Star Trek original series cast members in reprising his role in Star Trek: The Motion Picture, the first Star Trek feature film.
He went on to play Chekov again in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan in 1982, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock in 1984, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home in 1986, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier in 1989, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country in 1991 and Star Trek: Generations in 1994.
Outside of acting, Koenig was known for his humanitarian activism focused on human rights and assisting refugees. He was also a husband and father. In 1965, he married actress Judy Levitt.
"She’s very tolerant of my collection and my collecting so long as it doesn’t come down the stairs into the living room or any of the bedrooms," Koenig said in a 2012 interview about his wife's view of his Star Trek memorabilia.
In 2012, Koenig was honored with a Hollywood Walk of Fame star. In recent years, he continued to appear in other Star Trek-related projects and lent his voice to various animated series. He was also a familiar face at fan events and conventions.
Koenig is survived by his daughter, Danielle Koenig, an actress, comedian and screenwriter. Koenig's wife died in 2022. Koenig's son, actor Andrew Koenig, died by suicide in 2010.

Becca Devens, the wife of Big Brother winner Rick Devens, is opening up about her recent cancer diagnosis.
The couple shared Becca's health update in an Instagram video Sunday. In the video, the pair sit together with their pet dog as they reveal Becca has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
“We just wanted to let you know some important news, because it would be weird if we didn’t tell you before I had to go have surgery,” Becca said. “Rick won Big Brother, and then we came home and I got diagnosed with breast cancer.”
The video is simply captioned, "Plot twist."
Becca continued explaining the situation, saying, "So, that sucks. But, we caught it early because I do my mammograms like a good girl, and I’m going to get a double mastectomy. And that will be fun, but, because we caught it early, we think that’s all we have to do, which is great, and we’ll keep people posted."
Becca also revealed she will have an MRI on Tuesday. She asked those watching to "send good vibes and prayers."
Rick took to the comments of the video to write, "Thank you all for the love! Becca’s got this. Luckily she’s the tough one. Also, the funny, charming, smart, good looking one."
Rick Devens made history as he became the first former Survivor contestant to win Big Brother on Oct. 1. In addition to winning the season, he became the second person to win both the game and the fan-voted America’s Favorite Player award. He cemented himself as the player to have won the most money in the history of American Big Brother with $810,000.
Fellow Big Brother season 28 houseguest and Survivor season 50 player Dee Valladares sent the Devens family love in the comments section of the video.
"God blessed Rick recently and he’s about to bless you with a quick recovery. We love you Becca," Valladares wrote.
Big Brother season 28 runner-up Taylor Brown also commented, "Sending love and prayers Ms. Becca," while director and Big Brother superfan James Gunn wrote, "So much love for you guys right now."

Eric Bauza, a voice actor known for bringing classic animated characters including Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck to life, has died at the age of 46, according to his family.
Bauza's family said in a brief statement on his Instagram that he "passed away suddenly." No further details were given.
ABC News has reached out to Bauza's manager for comment.
Bauza's family described him in their statement as an "Emmy Award-winning voice actor and the modern voice of iconic Looney Tunes characters."
In addition to Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, Bauza voiced dozens of other cartoon characters, including Porky Pig, Road Runner and Elmer Fudd, most recently in the 2026 film Coyote vs. Acme.
Bauza won three Emmy Awards for his work voicing Looney Tunes characters, according to a biography shared by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, with which he performed at the Hollywood Bowl last year.
Bauza, who was born in Canada and started his career working in animation, had more than 400 acting credits to his name, including in Space Jam and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies, according to his IMDb profile.
Earlier this month, Bauza was named as part of The Hollywood Reporter's 2026 Animation Power List. Identifying him as one of most influential people in animation today, the publication said "Bauza has quietly become the voice of an entire cartoon universe."
Netflix is rounding up more gentlemen. Tudum announced Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood and Ed Speelers are joining stars Theo James and Kaya Scodelario for the third season of The Gentlemen, which is currently filming in the U.K. and Morocco. Also added to the series cast are Dexter Fletcher, Robert Carlyle and Bugzy Malone, who appeared in the 2019 film that inspired the Netflix series. The action-adventure series Fallout has inspired a new reality show. Prime Video has revealed Fallout Shelter: The Experiment, an unscripted competition inspired by the post-apocalyptic drama series and the video game universe. The show “invites everyday participants to test their aptitude for the apocalypse in Vault-Tec's state-of-the-art bomb-proof vault shelters," according to Prime Video. Contestants will “go head to head in a series of high-octane drills, psychological dilemmas and morally challenging behavior trials.” The winner walks away with a $1 million prize. Fallout Shelter: The Experiment will begin streaming in January 2027 …
Bravo renewed a slate of its reality shows ahead of Bravo’s Fan Fest on Saturday. New York-based In the City has been greenlit for season 2, while Next Gen NYC is coming back for a third season. Hailee Steinfeld has released new music for her upcoming film, Hexed.
The actress and singer released "Magic" on Friday, which is a cover of the song from The Cars' 1984 album, Heartbeat City.
"Nothing compares to when the two (creative) loves of my life -- acting and music -- come together under one roof," Steinfeld wrote in her Beau Society newsletter. "It happened with 'Sinners' in a crazy kismet way when I recorded 'Dangerous' at the 11th hour. And with my new movie 'Hexed,' it happened again!"
She continued, "I had an amazing, very impromptu opportunity to sing on the record, and I still can't even believe it happened. Even better, I got to record the song with my childhood friend Demitri Lerios. The whole thing felt like pure creative magic."
Steinfeld, who became a mom in April to a daughter named Harper Haize Allen, stars in the new animated Disney film Hexed, which follows a teenage girl named Billie (voiced by Steinfeld), "who discovers secret magical abilities which, once unleashed, hurtle her out of suburbia and into a spectacle-filled journey through a vast witch realm called Hexe," a synopsis for the film says.
The synopsis continues, "Forced to team up with her cautious mother, Alice (voiced by Rashida Jones), they uncover family mysteries that could change the world of witches forever."
Steinfeld said that the song got her thinking about motherhood.
"While we were recording, I couldn't help but think about how perfect the timing of all of this feels," she said. "Having made a movie about a beautiful mother-daughter story, while also becoming a mother myself, and recording the kind of song I envision her dancing around the kitchen counter to one day."
Steinfeld shares daughter Harper with husband Josh Allen, who is the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills.
The duo tied the knot on May 31, 2025.
Also starring in Hexed are Walton Goggins, Jodie Foster, Henry Winkler, Dan Stevens, Tracey Ullman and Stephen Fry.
Hexed arrives in theaters on Nov. 25.

When the first trailer for Wicker debuted in July, it had viewers swooning over an unlikely heartthrob, a man made of wicker.
The trailer introduced audiences to a fisherwoman, played by Olivia Colman, who commissions a local basketmaker, played by Peter Dinklage, to craft her a husband out of wicker.
Alexander Skarsgård, who plays the wicker man in the film, told ABC News that he was "overwhelmed" by the reaction to the trailer when it came out.
"People really respond to this world that our writer-directors had created," Skarsgård said. "That is definitely something you don't take for granted when you make an indie film. I've never experienced this kind of a reaction to a trailer before."
In the film, Skarsgård transforms into a man made entirely out of wicker. His look was created out of prosthetics by a team at Wētā Workshop, which used digital sculpting software and 3D printing technology.
Skarsgård said that it wasn't until two weeks before filming began that he was able to try the costume on.
He said that transforming into wicker man for the first time was an "extraordinary moment."
"It definitely helped me find the physicality of the character and playing around with the movements," he said. "The face plate was glued to my face so that it would move with my facial movements. And it was great that we had a little time before we started filming because I had to exaggerate all the facial movements so that it would read on the mask."
He added, "That was great that we had a little bit of time to kind of perfect that and work on the physicality of the character."
The film is based on Ursula Wills-Jones's 2008 short story The Wicker Husband, a modern literary fable. The film is centered around the fisherwoman, who rejects the village's societal structures.
Colman said what drew her to playing the fisherwoman was her journey and that she was "gripped when the script arrived."
"I was like, oh my God, it's totally different. I love her," Colman said. "I love who she is and she's fragile and strong and she's everything -- she's the whole gamut of human emotions."
The Oscar winner continued, "I loved that she looks like she has strong armor at the beginning, but she just doesn't -- she's same as all people. It's terrifying to give yourself to love but she does it and I loved the relationship and that they really sort of put a little grenade amongst the people in the village. It's really satisfying."
"It's social commentary about love and relationships and our communities, but done in a very light way and I just hope people laugh and cry and have a think about what their life is like and just enjoy it," she added. "It's really beautiful, I keep hearing the phrase handcrafted film, it really is that."
Also starring in the film are Elizabeth Debicki, Richard E. Grant, Nabhaan Rizwan, Marli Siu, Gustav Lindh and Máté Mészáros.

The cast of Ugly Betty is back together 20 years after the beloved series first premiered.
America Ferrera, Vanessa Williams, Michael Urie, Ana Ortiz and more cast members reunited for an interview with ABC News' Chris Connelly, reflecting on the show's lasting impact and their time working together.
Ugly Betty, which premiered in 2006 and ran for four seasons on ABC, starred Ferrera as Betty Suarez, a young woman navigating the fashion industry while working at the fictional Mode magazine.
In the interview aired on Good Morning America Friday, Ferrera said she knew the show, which centered on a Mexican American family, would resonate with viewers.
"Are you so surprised at like how huge Ugly Betty was? I'm like, 'No. I, like, knew,'" Ferrera recalled being asked. "Do you know how many people are going to be so hungry for that character and that show and that family?"
The series also explored issues including immigration and LGBTQ representation, something the cast said continues to resonate with audiences today.
Tony Plana, who played Betty's father, Ignacio Suarez, recalled the impact of a storyline involving his character's deportation.
"I think we made a huge impact when Ignacio was deported. And look at the situation now," Plana said. "I think it's changed culture. It's changed the way young people, but especially young women, young girls, feel about themselves."
Ferrera also reflected on the show's legacy, adding, "We were ahead of our time — and like everything, you know, not everything ages well, but I think we do."
The cast also opened up about the friendships they formed while filming the series.
Williams, who played Mode's creative director Wilhelmina Slater, recalled working alongside Urie, who portrayed her assistant, Marc St. James.
"We gave each other permission every episode to play and feed off each other and make things even better," Williams said.
Urie became emotional while remembering how Williams embraced him as her on-screen partner.
"Many actors that would have been considered for the 'diva' role might not have gone for that and could have gotten me fired," he said, adding that Williams instead "included" him.
"Once I turned 40, I started crying every time I talk about this," he said.
Williams credited her parents, who were music educators, with teaching her the importance of working together.
"My parents as educators showed the importance of teamwork and working together always and giving people grace and opportunity to be themselves," she said.
The reunion also included an emotional exchange between Ferrera and Mark Indelicato, who was 11 years old when he began playing Betty's nephew, Justin Suarez.
Indelicato, now 32, said he recently watched the show's first season for the first time and reflected on his character's impact on the LGBTQ community.
"It felt far enough away to be able to appreciate what Justin Suarez did for the LGBTQ community," he said. "When I was so young ... you're kind of like footloose and fancy free. I was just having fun."
Ferrera praised Indelicato for navigating the challenges of being a child actor and growing up in the public eye.
"You didn't just do a phenomenal job being extremely talented on camera," Ferrera said of Indelicato, adding that he emerged as "such an intelligent, compassionate, interested, interesting person, that's rare."
The cast also discussed whether they would be interested in returning for more of the Ugly Betty series.
"I'm ready, let's go! Let's goooo!" Ortiz said.
Ferrera, meanwhile, had a humorous idea for where her character would be 20 years later.
"I think Betty is curled up in the fetal position in her childhood bed having a midlife crisis," Ferrera joked. "And that is the opening scene of the reboot."
